Todd Penegor most recently president and CEO of the Wendy’s Company has been appointed as CEO and president of Papa John’s International and has joined the Board of Directors.
Christopher Coleman chair of the Papa John’s Board noted, “Todd’s appointment as president and CEO successfully concludes an extensive search to identify a proven leader who has the experience, skills and vision to achieve the full potential of the brand.”
In accepting the appoint Penegor stated, “I am honored to serve as CEO and work with the Board and our dedicated team members and franchisees to usher in the company’s next chapter.”
Penegor earned a BA degree in accounting and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Michigan State University.
He has held appointments with increasing responsibility at the Ford Motor Company, Kellogg’s Europe and at Wendy’s where he presided over growth in sales and earnings with expansion of the chain to 7,000 restaurants.
