Lloyd Joseph Weber, DVM recently passed away at the age of 80.  He graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1969.  Over his 53-year career, including private practice and academia he was recognized for his expertise and contributions to poultry veterinary medicine including training of the next generation.  He was a diplomate of the American College of Poultry Veterinarians and was the recipient of the Ontario Poultry Industry Council Award of Merit and the University of Guelph Outstanding Service Award.  He was also honored by Turkey Farmers of Ontario and was inducted into the Canadian Poultry Research Network Hall of Fame.
