Nellie’s Free Range a brand under the Pete & Jerry’s umbrella has introduced a new brand campaign.  According to Phyllis Rothschild, CMO at Pete & Jerry’s, “these efforts will further strengthen our position in premium eggs especially as cage-free legislation becomes more prevalent across the country in 2025 and beyond.”  While this statement can bear contradiction, Nellie’s “Life’s better out here!” – campaign emphasizes free-range management of flocks. This   implies that sunshine and fresh air in some way alter the flavor or nutritional content of eggs, a speculative claim but currently highly marketable to affluent consumers.

 

At mid-year, Nellie’s introduced new packaging to communicate nutritional content and emphasize free range housing.
