The American Egg Board has announced the appointment of three “important placements” contributing to the key strategic priorities for the egg industry.  According to Emily Metz, AEB president and CEO, “The success of our industry rests with people and the American Egg Board is continuing to deepen its bench strength with the experience and proven talent required to deliver on major initiatives.”  Appointees include: -

• Bill Winkelman as Vice-President of Industry Affairs and Engagement.  Winkelman joins the AEB from the U.S. Pork Center of Excellence and served as COO of FarrPro.  He has extensive experience in the pork industry.  His background is in financial management with a B.A. in accounting from Ohio State University.

• Nick Jones has been appointed Director of International Marketing.  Jones has more than two decades of experience in the U.S. pork industry overseeing financial operations and developing marketplace forecasts.  He earned a B.S. in marketing and transportation logistics from Iowa State University.  He is charged with doubling U.S. shell egg product exports.

• Erica Mirth was appointed as Manager of Content and Design.  Mirth has experience in design, branding packaging and advertising and coordinating social media to promote brands.
