Washington State Attorney General Bob Fergusson

Bob Ferguson, Attorney General for the state of Washington has engaged Munger, Tolles and Olson to present the case for the State in an anti-trust lawsuit filed in January opposing the merger of the Kroger Company with Albertsons Corp. 

Prestigious law firms in Washington with experience in anti-trust litigation are representing both Kroger and Albertsons against the DOJ and state actions intended to prevent the merger.  Ferguson contends that the proposed merger would eliminate competition between the two largest grocery chains in the State to the disadvantage of consumers.
