According to an FDA notice, PBM Nutritionals, LLC is recalling Parent’s Choice and Tippee Toes brands of infant formula.  According to the June 16^th release, product that was rejected by internal quality control procedures was released to the market.  The question arises as to the nature of the rejection, whether due to identification of bacterial contamination, incorrect formulation or other issues.  The report did not indicate whether the recall was initiated as a result of an FDA audit or was self-reported by PBM Nutritionals.

Recalled product was distributed in 24 states throughout the East and Midwest.
