In a June 30th Reuters report, Costco Wholesale Corporation announced that it has purchased the minority stake of their partner in the Costco-Taiwan joint venture for $1.05 billion.  Costco operates 14 warehouses in Taiwan in addition to an E-Commerce site.  The transaction is expected to be accretive to earnings.
