In a planned retirement Jim Sumner, CEO and President of USAPEEC has handed responsibility Council to Greg Tyler.  During his tenure, Sumner tripled U.S. chicken exports and USAPEEC has established sixteen international offices on four continents.  He was also responsible for establishing the International Poultry Council.

During the recent USAPEEC meeting in Vail, CO. Sumner stated "I am so proud of what we have been able to accomplish in my time at USAPEEC and am grateful to have worked with so many talented people on the Council and throughout our industry".  He added, "I am confident that under Greg, this organization will continue to open markets and grow poultry and egg exports around the world". 

Jim will continue to serve USAPEEC as a senior advisor and will retain his roles with the International Poultry Council and the World Poultry Foundation.
