During his tenure, he defrauded the organization of more than $8 million in a series of internal scams including skimming parking fees, kickbacks and using a company credit card for personal use. After pleading guilty to nine counts including conspiracy to commit wire fraud and tax evasion, he was sentenced to ten years in federal prison and ordered to pay $8 million in restitution.
