Will Future Anthropologists and Archaeologists Wonder About Our Chicken Bones?

Frankie Shchembri posting on Science referred to reports on the size and quantity of chicken bones from studies on habitation in the first few centuries of the Common Era in comparison to the current situation. Not only are domestic chickens far larger than their progenitors of 2,000 years ago, but the quantity of chicken bones which will be unearthed will reflect high current consumption despite disposal which might preclude future examination. Shchembri based his observations on a report posted on the website of the Royal Society of Open Science.
